Blockchain architect since 2013. Operator since 2002.
Building inside the digital economy before it had a name.
I founded one of the first 30 Layer-1 blockchains ever built. I scaled an international business to $60M in revenue across 15+ countries. I closed government contracts at Lockheed Martin and Bentley Logistics. Today I run Satoshi Firm — a blockchain consulting practice operating since 2014 — advising corporate boards, government contractors, and regulated industries through every cycle the digital economy has been through.
I have spent my entire career building things — businesses, infrastructure, networks, blockchains — at the front edge of where opportunity meets uncertainty.
My background is unusual. I started as an IT specialist at Lockheed Martin, upgrading network infrastructure for NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. From there I founded SouthEastern IT Solutions during the dot-com aftermath, acquiring servers from Excite@Home and Napster bankruptcies and selling them globally. I built Bentley Logistics into a serious federal contractor, closing $15M+ in DoD contracts for Iraq and Afghanistan infrastructure rebuilding.
Then in 2002 I founded AutoVid — what would become a $60M international vehicle export operation across 15+ countries. We grew it for 19 years before I closed it to focus full-time on blockchain.
In November 2013 I founded HempCoin (THC) — one of the first 30 Layer-1 blockchains ever built. We launched before Ethereum existed. The network reached $200M market cap and a Top 100 CoinMarketCap ranking in 2018. It listed on Bittrex. It has been operating continuously for 13 years.
In 2014 I founded Satoshi Firm — a boutique blockchain consulting practice that I have operated continuously through every market cycle since. I advise corporate boards, government contractors, agriculture and food supply chain operators, logistics firms, and cannabis operators on blockchain strategy, architecture, regulatory compliance, treasury, tokenization, and execution.
I am not a consultant who learned blockchain recently. I am an architect who has built it from the genesis block. I do not consult on blockchain. I have built one.
From servers in the dot-com aftermath to one of the first blockchains ever built — every venture has been a real operation, not a side project. Here are the active brands I'm running today and the foundational businesses that built the network and experience behind them.
